£12.60 to £12.80 per hour, full‑time 45.5 hours per week on working days.

Role Overview
As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in the day‑to‑day support and care of individuals with autism. You will help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes their physical, emotional and social well‑being.
Typical Day
- Provide person‑centred care and support to individuals with autism.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation and household tasks.
- Encourage and support individuals in participating in community activities and pursuing their interests, such as swimming and bowling.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals, their families and other stakeholders.
- Monitor and record the progress of individuals, ensuring all care plans are followed.
- Support individuals in achieving their personal goals and developing new skills.
- Promote a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring the well‑being of all individuals.
Requirements
- A compassionate and caring nature, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Resilience and patience when faced with challenges, adapting to individual needs.
- A willingness to learn and follow guidance from the team.
- Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes.
- A full UK driving licence – essential for supporting our individuals with transport to appointments and activities.
- The right to work in the UK with at least 12 months remaining on your visa (if applicable).
- No experience needed — just passion, patience and commitment.
- Will rise to undergo an enhanced DBS check with barred list check.
