We’re looking for an inspiring Senior Support Worker to join our dedicated team supporting young people with autism and complex needs. As a Senior Support Worker, you’ll lead by example—supporting your team, creating a safe and joyful home, and empowering young people to achieve their goals.
This is a role full of heart. From outdoor adventures and sports to community activities and life‑skills development, you’ll play a key part in helping young people discover what they love and who they want to become.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, mentor, and inspire your team to deliver exceptional, person‑centred care
- Support the emotional and physical wellbeing of young people, including personal care
- Promote independence, confidence, and positive life skills
- Take part in activities, trips, and outdoor experiences
- Support transport to appointments and activities (Driver Essential)
- Maintain accurate records and ensure a welcoming, safe home environment
- Celebrate milestones and achievements with the young people you support
What You’ll Need
- Experience in care, ideally with autism or complex needs
- A calm, caring, resilient approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Full UK driving licence (Driver Essential)
- Right to work in the UK (12+ months remaining if on a visa)
- QCF Level 3 preferred (or currently working towards it)
