About The Role

Learning Support Assistant (Lunch-Time Cover) at Summergil House School | Presteigne | Part‐Time | 15 hours per week (11 am to 2 pm)

Annual Salary £8,008.65 to £9,219.60.

As an LSA, you will be providing high‐quality learning through diverse teaching methods, supporting teachers in planning and assessing activities and organising off‐site experiences.

Welcome to Summergil House School! We are seeking passionate LSAs to help children with Autism thrive. Located in Presteigne, our school offers a unique environment with 18 acres of fields, woodlands, a stream, lake, swimming pool, and sports hall. You will support our students in both structured and unstructured settings, helping them reach their full potential. To Join Our Team, We Require:

  • 12 months minimum experience in similar roles.
  • Formal qualification in Supporting Teaching & Learning or equivalent.
  • Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes.
  • GCSE qualification in English & Maths.
  • Enhanced DBS Check, including a Barred List Check.
