What your day might look like

No two days are the same — and that’s what makes this role so rewarding. As a Support Worker, you’ll:

  • Build positive, trusting relationships with the individuals you support
  • Help with daily routines, personal care, and developing life skills
  • Support independence through activities, outings, and community involvement
  • Celebrate progress — big and small — every step of the way
  • Take part in fun, engaging experiences like train rides, trampoline parks, and local trips
  • Work closely with your team to provide consistent, person-centred care

You’ll also support with:

  • Record keeping and care notes
  • Meal preparation and light housekeeping
  • Creating a warm, welcoming, home-like environment
