About The Role
Interim Deputy Manager Ty Bronllys Residential Home – Brecon (Driver Essential) £14.10–£15.25 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications) Annual location allowance of £1,500 pro rata (subject to tax and National Insurance) Fixed Term Contract Maternity Cover until 30 September 2026 40.25 hours per week.

We are now recruiting for an Interim Deputy Manager to support the leadership of our residential home during this fixed-term period. This Interim Deputy Manager role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced senior support professional or existing deputy manager who is passionate about leadership, quality care, and positive outcomes for children with complex needs.

The Role
As Interim Deputy Manager, you will support the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the home and play a key role in maintaining a safe, supportive, and well-led service. The Interim Deputy Manager will lead by example, ensuring high standards of care and positive leadership across the team.
Key Responsibilities Of The Interim Deputy Manager Include:
- Supporting the leadership, motivation, and development of the staff team
- Leading shifts and providing hands-on support when required
- Ensuring care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour support plans are followed and reviewed
- Supporting children with daily routines, emotional wellbeing, and personal development
- Promoting safeguarding, compliance, and best practice in line with current legislation
- Supporting staff supervision, training, and performance management
- Maintaining Accurate Records And Contributing To Regulatory Requirements
About You
We’re looking for an Interim Deputy Manager who:
- Is compassionate, resilient, and values-driven
- Has experience supporting children with autism and complex needs in a residential setting
- Is confident working in a senior or leadership role
- Holds a minimum QCF Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care
- Holds or is working towards a Level 4 or 5 qualification in Residential Management (preferred)
- Has a good working knowledge of current legislation, safeguarding, and best practice
- Is a driver (essential)
- Can work flexibly across a rota, including weekends and occasional nights
