Role Description
The Civil Technical Office Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Sheraton. The role involves preparing and reviewing civil shop drawings, coordinating with design and site teams, and ensuring that drawings are aligned with project specifications and standards. The engineer will participate in quantity surveying activities, support the preparation and verification of BOQs, and assist in cost control and budgeting. Daily tasks include technical documentation, coordination with other engineering disciplines (such as electrical), resolving design-related issues, and supporting project managers with technical data. The role also requires regular reporting, maintaining organized records, and assisting in tender and contract documentation as needed.
Qualifications
- Civil Engineering background with strong skills in Shop Drawings and BOQ preparation and review.
- Experience in Quantity Surveying, including measurement, cost estimation, and verification of quantities.
- Ability to coordinate between Civil Engineering and Electrical Engineering disciplines to ensure integrated technical solutions.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Excel; experience with BIM tools is an advantage).
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in a technical office or similar engineering role within real estate or construction projects.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work on-site in Sheraton, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and manage multiple tasks under time constraints.
