We are currently looking for a Trading Colleague to join us at Doncaster. If you want to make a difference and work for a purpose-led company, please read on. Reporting to the Pricing Operations Manager, the Trading Colleague will work closely with the National Developer Team, external sales force, installers/contractors and internal customers such as the Commercial Rebate team. The job holder is responsible for the creation and maintenance of all our developer/contractor trading agreements as well as the validation of all rebate claims made through these customers. This includes developer deals, tier 1 agreements, installer plot rebates, installer turnover agreements and price increase offset rebates. The job holder must also maintain the CRM database with all the agreements, site details and payments.

The role:

  • Ensure all commercial agreements (National Housebuilder, Regional Housebuilder, Installer plot rebates, Installer turnover rebates & Tier 1 agreements) are created and issued to external customers, maintaining strict governance protocols.
  • Upon receipt of signed documentation, replicate agreements on to CRM and log on to the Orbia Contracts site.
  • Maintain various reports covering all detail and payment history of all live agreements.
  • Issue all termination letters to various parties, including customers and internal sales teams.
  • Update CRM with all site information for validation purposes.
  • Validate all claims submitted, whether developer, installer or price-offset.
  • Arrange all authorisations of validated claims, receipt of related invoices and payment of said invoices, providing all evidence of calculations and authorisations to the finance teams.
  • To be flexible and amenable when working on projects.
  • To provide support to the external Sales Teams as and when required in a professional and efficient manner.
  • To develop and maintain a general knowledge of the customer base and marketplace.

The profile:

  • Experience working within a business that transacts with multi-dimensional partners i.e. Merchant/Installers/Developers.
  • Experience working in an office environment, preferably within a Commercial function.
  • Experience working as part of a team but also be capable of self-management and working autonomously.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Confident with decision-making and solving problems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, namely Excel and Word. Mail Merge and experience with CRM is also advantageous.
