The role
- To ensure that machines produce at standard output and meet the production plan requirements.
- To ensure compliance with Health and Safety Policy and Procedures and that all work is undertaken to the appropriate standards.
- Participate in the development and implementation of Chippenham improvement plans.
- To enter and maintain all relevant information for shop floor data collection.
- To enter and maintain all relevant information as required to meet QC standards.
- To complete autonomous maintenance tasks as per schedules.
- To undertake work in other operational departments should the need arise.
The profile
- Previous experience of short/medium size batch production.
- Must be able to plan and organize activities of self.
- Must be able to communicate effectively.
- Demonstrable flexibility and adaptable work ethic.
- Willingness to embrace change and improve processes as systems develop.
- Practical experience of Extrusion manufacturing process.
