Fluor and Energy Materials, an Orbia business, is looking for a SHEQ Management Systems Specialist to be based at Runcorn, Cheshire, UK.
Main PurposeTo develop, support and drive the implementation of Safety, Health, Environmental & Industrial Quality (SHEQ) management system arrangements across the UK Orbia Fluor and Energy Materials business. To ensure that compliance assurance activities (both internal and external) are planned and coordinated and are fully understood, and that the outputs are integrated into Orbia F&EM UK activities.
Main Responsibilities- To manage the effective implementation of the merged ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems, maintain the management systems manual and prepare and present quarterly and annual reviews of the safety management systems for site management.
- To manage the internal audit plan.
- To perform horizon scanning activities to provide early awareness of forthcoming changes to, or new, legislation.
- To manage the corporate software function whereby the business demonstrates legal compliance for SHEQ disciplines.
- To manage external audits from certifying bodies and supply chain or other interested third parties as required.
- To prepare a monthly analysis of SHEQ performance data.
- To monitor, analyze and report on effective utilization of systems relating to change management, incident investigation and audit.
- To take part in SHEQ initiatives such as Safety Walks, SHE Training Days, Internal Audits and Risk Assessments.
- To ensure monthly and quarterly reporting of SHEQ data to the Corporate level of the business utilizing the Odiseo software system.
- Author and be responsible for updating industrial quality procedures and associated parts of the Koura UK SHEQ management system.
- NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, or NVQ Level 6 in Health & Safety Management or equivalent.
- NEBOSH Environmental Management Certificate or equivalent.
- Quality Management Systems Lead Auditor trained (IRCA certified course or equivalent).
- Extensive knowledge of UK SHE legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Proven track record of developing, implementing and managing SHE Management Systems.
- Strong organizational, leadership, communication and IT skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive approach to SHE management and compliance.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with all levels of the organization.
