Orbex is looking for an experienced Accounts Administrator to join the Finance department. You will be well organised and comfortable working in a busy accounts payable function. We are looking for someone with proven experience working in an accounts team, ideally with experience working in multiple currencies and long term ambitions for growth and development with the company. Any experience working with engineering/manufacturing companies would be desirable.
As an Accounts Administrator your duties will include:
- Co-ordinating with Treasury & Accounts Payable Supervisor to ensure all duties are completed efficiently and in line with month end deadlines.
- Acting as point of contact for all supplier queries along with managing the Finance email inbox daily.
- Taking responsibility for the debtors & creditors ledgers, and ensuring accuracy of postings.
- Posting all payments and reconciling several bank accounts in various currencies monthly.
- Pleo / credit card postings.
Excellent numeracy and literacy skills will be required for this role, as will a good understanding of Microsoft Excel. Preference will be given to applicants who have some book-keeping qualifications and some previous accounts payable experience. Full training on using our ERP system and our processes will be provided.
You may be required to undergo a UK BPSS check which includes a criminal record check.
Salary of £25-30k depending on experience.
