Your Role: We are looking for a Senior MRI Scientist to develop solutions that enable the next generation of our AI-powered MRI solutions to become faster, cheaper, and simpler. As a part of the Imaging team, you use your expertise in MRI and your excellent problem-solving skills to transform cutting-edge research into a breakthrough product.
On a Typical Day, You Will:
- Work in an interdisciplinary team developing the next generation of Orbem’s AI-powered imaging products.
- Characterize the imaging capabilities of prototype MRI scanners and hardware.
- Explore the augmentation of our MR scanners with novel capabilities.
- Develop and optimize production-grade MRI protocols for improved speed and image quality through simulation and experiment.
- Define and optimize imaging workflows to maximize image quality, acquisition speed, AI-driven insights, and enable automation.

MRI Expertise:
- Hands-on experience developing methods for MRI on multiple platforms.
- Experience with MR protocol optimization on multiple platforms.
- Solid understanding of MR hardware components and have developed optimizations for one or multiple components.
- Strong applied MR physics knowledge.
- Experience with Bloch or EPG simulations of MR phenomena.
Coding & Data Fluency:
- You have experience writing software in Python.
- You have experience developing code collaboratively using version control.
