Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to work in our engineering team? Within the Engineering team, the Mechanical Engineer will integrate operational engineering multi-disciplines teams delivering projects at various phases, from FEED to commissioning, or in assistance to Plant Operation in the UK.

As a Mechanical Engineer at Orano Limited, you will be involved in a variety of specialist tasks:

  • Supporting/delivering and organising technical studies/projects.
  • Supporting the design of mechanical processes, from strategic and conceptual phases to detailed design and construction & commissioning phase support, producing technical notes, substantiation notes, mechanical flow diagrams, flow-sheets, mechanical drawings, P&IDs, mechanical layout drawings, hazards and malfunctions management, and reviewing technical specification documentation from supply chain.
  • Technical studies related to mechanical handling for handling operations, heavy mechanical transfer systems, powder mechanical processes (transport, milling, compaction) in high active environment and gloveboxes, compaction and mechanical dismantling technologies.
  • Technical networking within Orano, including with Orano experts.
