The purpose of the Head of Decommissioning role is to lead Orano Limited’s Decommissioning department within the UK to ensure sustainable growth and successful delivery of all decommissioning projects.
Responsibilities
- Line management of team leaders and principal engineers.
- Identification of resource needs, recruitment planning and undertaking recruitment interviews.
- Identification of the development needs of the department and proposing development plans.
- Management of the efficient deployment of resources of the department by working with the team leaders and Head of Operations Capability to agree allocation of staff on projects.
- Develop and maintain a discipline strategy for the decommissioning department which aligns with the wider business strategy and account plans. Implement this effectively.
- Proactive engagement with external network and industry stakeholders to secure new business and grow order intake, revenue and profit for the department.
- Support the Sales.
