As a Senior EC&I Engineer at Orano Limited, you will be involved in a variety of specialist tasks based in Warrington (hybrid).
Responsibilities
- Deliver design project deliverables covering the full project life cycle from concept design to manufacture and commissioning.
- Produce the required EC&I design documents and drawings to the standards, procedures, and requirements set by the project under supervision.
- Coordinate, plan, and deliver designs in accordance with the required standards, procedures, and requirements set by the project.
Qualifications
- Minimum qualification: BEng (Hons) Degree or equivalent in electrical or control engineering or similar engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years professional engineering/technical specialist experience.
- Experience interfacing with other technical disciplines is desirable.
- Previous experience in a nuclear site or other highly regulated site.
- Familiarity with AMTECH ProDesign or similar cable calculation software.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD design.
- Familiarity with BIM-enabled projects.
Additional Information
The successful candidate must, by the start of employment, have permission to work in the UK and be willing to undergo a security vetting process. Offers of employment will be subject to relevant security clearance being granted. Close working relationships with other Orano sites and client sites may be required, necessitating regular travel to those sites depending on project and client requirements.
