As a Senior EC&I Engineer at Orano Limited, you will be involved in a variety of specialist tasks. This could include:

  • Delivering design project deliverables covering the full project life cycle from concept design through to manufacture and commissioning.
  • Producing the required EC&I design documents and drawings to the standards, procedures and requirements set out by the project under supervision.
  • Being responsible for the coordination, planning and delivery of designs in accordance with the required standards, procedures and requirements set out by the project.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum qualification for this role is a BEng (Hons) Degree or equivalent qualification in electrical or control engineering or similar engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years professional engineering/technical specialist experience.
  • Experience in interfacing with other technical disciplines is desirable.
  • Previous experience in a Nuclear Site or other highly regulated site.
  • Familiarity with AMTECH ProDesign or similar cable calculation software.
  • Familiarity with AutoCad design.
  • Familiarity with BIM enabled projects.

The successful candidate must, by the start of the employment, have permission to work in the UK, and be willing to undergo a security vetting process. Offers of employment will be subject to relevant security clearance being granted. Close working relationships with other Orano sites and client sites may be required, which necessitates regular travel to those sites (dependent upon project & client requirements).
