This is a full-time, on-site position for a Lead 5 Axis CNC Programmer, Operator & Draughtsman located in Wembley. The role involves programming, setting up, and operating 5-axis CNC machines to produce precise components as per technical drawings. Daily responsibilities include reading and interpreting technical schematics, optimizing machining processes, performing milling and machining operations, and ensuring quality standards. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining the machines and collaborating with team members to ensure timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Programming & Operation: Program, set up, and operate 5-axis CNC machines (such as SCM) to manufacture complex bespoke furniture components.
- Pre-Production Design: Create high-quality pre-production drawings that meet client-issue standards, ensuring they are clear, accurately scaled, and professionally presented for approval.
- Process Optimization: Read and interpret technical schematics to optimize machining paths, tool selection, and material usage.
- Quality & Maintenance: Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure consistent production quality and meet strict project deadlines.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the creative team and other craftsmen to ensure timely delivery of premium wardrobes, kitchens, and staircases.
