Working as an MSS Delivery Lead, you play a critical role in the smooth and efficient transition of new clients onto our Managed Security Services (MSS). You are responsible for ensuring that all necessary processes, tools, systems, and technologies required to deliver comprehensive security services are correctly configured, integrated, and aligned with the client’s specific business requirements and security expectations from the outset. The MSS Delivery Lead ensures that the foundational elements of the service are set up with precision, guaranteeing that the client receives a seamless and customised security solution that meets their unique needs. The MSS Delivery Lead will have a direct reporting to the UK Head of Client Delivery. Other key stakeholders are the Global MSS Delivery Teams and key stakeholders across Sales, Presales, Legal, Professional Service delivery teams, PMO and Service management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish efficient, effective end-to-end processes and procedures from initial requirements capture, through to design and onboarding of MSS to ensure a high-quality onboarding that meets the client’s expectations and business requirements.
- Support sales and pre-sales teams during requirements gathering and scoping exercises to ensure sufficient information is captured to handover to the delivery teams.
- Oversee all client MSS onboardings ensuring all aspects of the onboarding process are executed smoothly.
- Review and validate documentation, security requirements and contract agreements to ensure all aspects of the service are understood prior to order and implemented correctly for a successful onboarding of the service.
- Work with MSS onboarding resources to manage client expectations throughout the onboarding process, ensuring clear communication on timelines, deliverables and work through any challenges encountered.
- Work with MSS delivery teams to streamline and enhance onboarding processes based on feedback and best practices.
- Own the service transition process from delivery to business as usual, agree and maintain service acceptance criteria with the local Cyber SOC to be used as a benchmark for all service transitions.
- Ensure continuous support is in place during the initial period after onboarding to address any concerns or adjustments required to ensure high client satisfaction.
- Track progress of all client MSS onboardings ensuring all deliverables are met, remain on schedule and on budget to a successful outcome.
- Develop, enhance and deliver onboarding documentation, FAQs and other relevant materials to assist clients in navigating their new service.
- Monitor budgets and ensure that all deliverables of the onboardings are delivered within the defined financial budgets, alongside identifying any efficiencies that can improve profitability for the business.
What we expect of you:
- Strong experience in managed security services and the end-to-end process.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in project or programme management roles.
- Proven ability to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders at a senior level.
- Experience working in a client-facing role, with strong communication and project management skills.
- Demonstrable experience of commercial acumen and financial management.
- Familiarity with security technologies such as firewalls, SIEM, endpoint protection and threat detection systems.
- Expertise in project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and risk management.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to clearly explain complex security concepts to clients, influence and build consensus across teams.
- Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities with a degree of professionalism and adaptability.
