Overview
WE ARE RECRUITING SUPPORT WORKERS IN EXMOUTH.
Do you live in or near Exmouth? Do you have an interest in spending time outdoors? Do you enjoy swimming, walking, the gym and cooking? Do you like going to the pub and listening to live music, trips to the seaside, cinema or the theatre? These are just some of the many activities and interests of our customers, so why not get paid to do these things while you work?
Due to further company expansion, we have various part time hours and bank positions available with people we support in the Exmouth area.
Responsibilities
- Be gentle but purposeful, strong and robust with excellent communication skills. Although this is 1:1 working, you will be part of a positive and dynamic team.
- Provide bespoke support packages for individuals to live independently within their chosen communities.
Hours and Pay
The regular hours available are 10am – 5pm weekdays and 11am – 4pm weekends.
We pay £12.65 per hour for day support, £12.21 per hour for sleep-ins and £12.85 for all overtime and cover above contracted hours.
Leave, rota and travel
Our annual leave is 5.6 weeks per year pro rata; however, extra leave is earned with all overtime. You will earn holiday for every hour worked.
We work to a fixed 4-week fixed rolling rota so you will always have the predictability of knowing when you are working and can easily plan holidays and time off.
We pay 45p per mile for work-related own vehicle use.
Training and organisation
We have a comprehensive online training program, with over 160 care and support related certificates available – plus we offer face to face in-house training.
We are a not-for-profit organisation with a hands-on management team, and we never use agencies for cover purposes.
