Role description
As a multi-skilled senior security engineer, you will have responsibility for installing, servicing and maintaining CCTV, intruder alarm and access control systems as well as working autonomously to deliver practical solutions to complex problems. Where required, take the lead on customer sites to ensure that our projects are delivered on time and produce exceptional quality and results. As a security engineer, you will need to exhibit good teamwork skills and understand the importance of supporting the workforce to achieve its objectives. Proficiency working with the following systems is desirable:
- CCTV: Dahua
- Intruder: Texecom, Pyronix, Ajax and Galaxy
- Access Control: Paxton
Training on our clients' specialist software will be given, as well as ongoing learning and development opportunities. Responsibilities
- Intruder Alarms: Install, service, and maintain intruder alarm systems to current BS EN/PD standards. Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs on intruder alarm systems and related components.
- CCTV: Install, commission, service, and maintain CCTV systems to current standards. Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs on CCTV systems and related components.
- Access Control: Install, service, and maintain access control systems to current standards. Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs on access control systems and related components.
- General: Participate with the on-call rota. Be available to stay away overnight if required. Conduct all activities in a professional manner at all times and follow company procedures. Attend company meetings as required. Ensure exceptional levels of customer service and client relations are maintained. Work efficiently within the team to ensure that projects are run in a timely manner and target completion dates are achieved.

Please note: Security screening to BS7858 standard is required for this role. A full UK driving licence is essential.
