Vacancy – Roofer.
Our York-based company is looking to recruit enthusiastic, highly motivated individuals for an immediate start to join our team of roofing operatives.
Established in 1981, the company specialises in residential, commercial, ecclesiastical and heritage roofing.
The position is varied and will provide the successful applicant with the opportunity to work on an array of projects across North Yorkshire.
We pride ourselves on training and the continued professional development of our workforce.
Responsibilities
- Work on a variety of roofing projects across North Yorkshire
- Collaborate with the roofing team to ensure quality workmanship
- Support on-site health and safety and adhere to site protocols
Qualifications
- Clean driving licence
- Good communication skills
- Smart appearance
- Experience in slating/tiling or leadwork is desirable
- Physically fit (there is a degree of heavy lifting)
- Must live within daily commuting distance of York
