Part-time Bookkeeper
System & Technical Solutions Ltd, a control systems integration company, which provides design and manufacturing control solutions across a number of industries, is seeking an experienced bookkeeper to join the team.
The successful candidate will work approximately 15 hours per week over 3 or 4 days and be responsible for managing financial records and ensuring the accuracy of the accounting processes.
Main job responsibilities include:
- Processing sales and purchase invoices, bank payments and receipts using Sage 50 accounting software
- Conducting bank reconciliations
- Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns
- Managing payroll using Sage Payroll software
- Processing and paying expense claims
- Generating management reports
- Preparing year-end financial statements
- Administrative duties
Skills/Qualifications:
- Preferably AAT qualified
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role within finance or accounting
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Proficient in Sage 50 Accounts and Sage Payroll
Pay rate:
- Β£15 β Β£20 per hour
