The Nations top Car Transport Company requires HGV Class-1 Tramper Drivers with Car Transporter experience or not. Drivers with impeccable HGV Class-1 record will be considered for paid Car Transporter training. Training Provided. This is your opportunity to break into the Car Transporter Industry.
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Shift Pattern: 4 On / 4 Off Tramping (Mon-Fri Tramping possible upon request)
Salary: £45,000 – £60,000 per year
Experienced Car Transporter Drivers preferred but HGV Class 1 Drivers with no experience on car transporters are welcome. For the successful applicants, full training will be provided to those with an exemplary record and experience of Tramping (sleeping in the truck).
Location: Henstridge
Training: For those with no car transporter experience, training will consist of up to four weeks of Car Transporter specific training by the best Trainers in the business at the best Training Academy in the UK – Paid. For those with car transporter experience already, you will attend the same top training academy for up to two weeks.
What You’ll Do:
- Drive HGV Class-1 car transporters (up to 12 vehicles)
- Load and unload cars and vans
- Conduct pre-load vehicle checks
- Deliver to dealerships, auctions, events and businesses all over the UK
- Act as a professional representative of the company
Shifts: 4 on-4 off Tramping/Roaming (Mon-Fri Tramping possible upon request)
What You’ll Need:
- HGV Class 1 (CE) licence
- Car transporter experience or HGV Class-1 Tramping experience (preferred)
- Valid CPC and digital tachograph card
- Maximum 6 minor points on your licence
- Professional, customer-facing attitude
