We are seeking enthusiastic, experienced, and resilient Teaching Assistants to join our Outstanding SEN School in Gunnislake. Our pupils have a range of learning disabilities and require varying levels of support across all aspects of daily life and learning.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to support children with complex needs and challenging behaviours, and the capacity to remain calm, patient, and professional in all situations.
As a Teaching Assistant, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Supporting and encouraging pupils with their learning and classroom activities
- Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Providing personal care where required
- Encouraging engagement in activities and positive interaction with peers
Salary: £21,648 – £23,313 (£13.39 – £14.42 per hour), dependent on qualifications and experience. Term-time only contract, 36.25 hours per week.
