We are looking for an associate to join our team 3-4 days a week. Our practice sits on the east side of Edinburgh just a couple of miles from the city centre in the lovely area of Duddingston. Our patients love us and yes they will chat about you at the local post office or gym!
We are an independent private and Dental Care Plan practice that is principal led with plenty of clinical support and mentorship. We have a strong team, many of whom have worked with us for over 10 years. Our full time hygienist team are fantastic and work hard with all our patients to promote prevention plus they have all your perio needs covered! We encourage all our adult patients to join our Dental Care Plan and work with us to improve the health of their mouths. We see all under 18s on the NHS. There is an existing list of plan and private patients to transfer and a steady stream of new patients.
We would like someone who is enthusiastic and genuinely enjoys dentistry, wants to get to know their patients, find out what they really want and how you can help them achieve it and is a proper team player i.e. make the cup of tea for your nurse when you have a break!
The position would suit someone who enjoys providing family dental care and wants to settle into a practice that is well regarded in the local community. You should want to build on your clinical skills and knowledge, be keen to learn and push yourself forward in your dental career. We encourage you to chat through cases amongst clinicians and find ways to provide the best care for your patient.
As a practice we are an Invisalign provider, we have Aquacare units, an iTero scanner and all the usual other bits youd expect!
