CONTROL ROOM CCTV OPERATOR – Office Based, 4 on 4 off (Night Shift)
Alert Monitoring (part of the AlertSystems Group) is recruiting a CCTV Operator to work nights in the Alarm Receiving Control Room based in Trowbridge, Wiltshire.

What you’ll do –
- Observe images from multiple commercial CCTV alarm screens using the latest in remote monitoring technology and software. Carry out investigations.
- Detect security breaches and threats.
- Analyse and investigate security data, record and report incidents and liaise with teammates, security guards, key holders, security engineers and the emergency services duringdynamic live security events and situations.
- Respond to fire, intruder, CCTV and life support system events.
- Assist in investigations with clients and police forces.
- Assist with remote entry to properties.
- Remotely assist persons in lift entrapment situations.
- Call handling and customer service.
- Shifts: 4 on 4 off (nights). You will be required to work occasional day shifts for training purposes and holiday cover.
What we’re looking for –
- The aptitude to accurately follow laid down procedures for investigation, response and escalation protocols.
- Admin skills to log and store accurate records, actions and data, ensuring precise report generation is always available for analysis and investigation by management.
- Confident telephone manner and good customer service skills.
- PC competence, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
- SIA CCTV Operators badge (not essential as training will be provided).
