We’re recruiting an Engineering Team Leader to lead a team of 5 engineers on a busy manufacturing site in Malton.
As the Engineering Team Leader, you’ll be responsible for coordinating maintenance activities, supporting production, reducing downtime and developing your engineering team. This is a hands-on Engineering Team Leader position where you’ll still be involved technically while leading from the front and driving engineering standards across the site.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading, motivating and developing a team of 5 engineers.
- Planning and prioritising planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
- Supporting production by minimising downtime and improving equipment reliability.
- Managing engineering workloads across your shift.
- Supporting continuous improvement and engineering projects.
- Managing contractors and permit-to-work systems.
- Using CMMS systems to schedule and record maintenance activities.
