As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll be a key part of the team delivering high-quality electrical and mechanical maintenance. This role is hands-on, focused on keeping production running, solving faults quickly, and driving improvements. Strong training is available, and they’re open to engineers from different backgrounds who bring solid core skills.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Carrying out planned and reactive electrical and mechanical maintenance
- Fault finding on electrical systems, motors, sensors, and control equipment
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults on conveyors, gearboxes, and production lines
- Supporting production to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency
- Troubleshooting breakdowns quickly and effectively
- Identifying and delivering continuous improvement opportunities
- Recording maintenance activities and equipment performance
What We're Looking For:
- Experience as a Maintenance Engineer, Shift Engineer, or multi-skilled engineer
- Strong mechanical bias with electrical fault-finding skills
- Background in manufacturing, FMCG, food production, or transferable environments
- Comfortable working Panama shifts (days and nights)
- Proactive, problem-solving approach to maintenance
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Engineering qualification or apprenticeship preferred
