Are you an experienced Control & Combustion Technician, Combustion Engineer, Controls Engineer, Instrumentation Technician or Furnace Engineer with experience working on industrial furnaces in heavy engineering? We're recruiting a Control & Combustion Technician for a large heavy engineering manufacturer in Sheffield.
What we're looking for:
- Industrial furnaces and combustion systems
- Burners and furnace controls
- Heavy engineering, steel, forging, foundry or similar environments
- Controls and instrumentation
- PLC fault finding
- Electrical fault finding
- Temperature and process control
- Planned and reactive maintenance
- Fault finding on complex industrial equipment
The key requirement is genuine furnace experience within a heavy industrial environment.
The role:
- Maintaining, fault finding and improving the site's furnace, combustion and control systems
- Planned and reactive maintenance
- Furnace and combustion fault finding
