  • Compressed air systems
  • Air Handling Units (AHUs)
  • Vacuum pumps

You don't need to be a specialist in everything. We're looking for a good engineering generalist who understands this type of equipment, can investigate why something isn't performing properly and knows where to start looking for a solution.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Investigating underperforming building services equipment
  • Identifying faults, inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
  • Engineering practical solutions
  • Reviewing plant controls, set points and operating parameters
  • Improving reliability and energy efficiency
  • Working alongside site engineers and specialist contractors
  • Supporting utilities and engineering improvement projects

Approximately 50% site/factory floor and 50% office based.

  • £50,000 FTE
  • No shift rotation
  • Broad engineering role - not tied to one piece of equipment
  • Less reactive production maintenance
  • Mix of hands-on engineering and improvement work
  • Autonomy to investigate problems and propose solutions
  • Opportunity to develop further experience in energy optimisation
