The Role - Electrical Maintenance Engineer
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a large manufacturing facility
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults on production equipment
- Fault finding across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Supporting the development and improvement of preventative maintenance schedules
- Using CMMS systems to record maintenance activities and work orders
- Identifying and ordering critical spare parts
- Working alongside specialist OEM engineers when required
- Supporting continuous improvement activities across the site
- Ensuring high standards of safety, quality and engineering workmanship at all times
What We're Looking For
- Experience working as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Shift Engineer or Multi-Skilled Engineer
- Strong electrical fault-finding abilities within an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and understand electrical engineering drawings
- Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment
- Apprenticeship, NVQ, City & Guilds, ONC, HNC or equivalent engineering qualification preferred
- Good communication skills and a proactive approach to maintenance
- Mechanical maintenance experience would be advantageous
