This is an opportunity to join a specialist manufacturing site as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, supporting a wide range of production equipment across multiple departments. You'll be responsible for fault finding, planned maintenance and continuous improvement activities on complex industrial machinery, helping to keep production running safely and efficiently.

What's On Offer
- Starting salary of £37,361
- Additional £6,000 market allowance following competency sign-off (typically around 3-6 months)
- Salary rising to £43,361 after sign-off

The Role - Electrical Maintenance Engineer
- Carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across a large manufacturing site
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults on a wide range of production equipment
- Supporting preventative maintenance activities to maximise plant reliability
- Working on furnaces, forging equipment, machining centres and other specialist machinery
- Using CMMS systems to record maintenance activities and work orders
- Assisting with continuous improvement projects
- Supporting critical spares management and equipment reliability initiatives
- Working alongside specialist OEM engineers when required
- Ensuring high standards of safety, quality and engineering workmanship
What We're Looking For
- Experience working as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Shift Engineer or Multi-Skilled Engineer
- Strong electrical fault-finding abilities
- Experience working within manufacturing, industrial, engineering or production environments
- Ability to read and understand electrical engineering drawings
- Apprenticeship, NVQ, City & Guilds, ONC, HNC or equivalent engineering qualification preferred
- Mechanical maintenance experience would be beneficial but not essential
- A proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement
This role would suit engineers from manufacturing, FMCG, steel, chemicals, recycling, foundries, power generation, paper, plastics, automotive or other industrial environments who are looking to move into a stable Monday-to-Friday position.
