We’re looking for an experienced Tool Room Technician to join a busy manufacturing site in North Walsham. This is a flexible, part-time opportunity focused on maintaining, repairing, and refurbishing production tooling to keep manufacturing running smoothly. The role would suit someone with previous toolroom, tooling, or injection moulding experience who enjoys practical, hands-on work and wants flexibility around hours and shifts.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Maintaining, repairing, and refurbishing production tools
- Stripping, cleaning, and rebuilding tooling ready for production
- Diagnosing faults and resolving tooling issues efficiently
- Supporting tool changes and production readiness activities
- Completing preventative tool maintenance to minimise downtime
- Recording maintenance activities and tool history accurately
- Working closely with production and engineering teams when required
- Helping maintain high standards of safety, organisation, and reliability
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a toolroom, tooling, or asset care environment
- Strong mechanical skills with good attention to detail
- Experience working with production tooling or injection moulding equipment
- Comfortable working independently and managing workload effectively
- Reliable, hands-on approach with a proactive attitude

Shift & Hours:
- Flexible 3 or 4 day week
- Approximately 24–30 hours per week
- Mainly day shifts
