We’re hiring an experienced Project Engineer to join a large, well-invested food manufacturing operation with a strong UK and European footprint. This Project Engineer position offers full ownership of capital projects, technical leadership responsibilities, and the opportunity to drive operational excellence. You’ll manage engineering projects end-to-end, ensuring delivery to specification, on budget, and in line with strict food manufacturing safety and quality standards. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Delivering end-to-end CAPEX and site engineering projects
  • Leading technical project planning, design reviews, and implementation phases
  • Managing external contractors and ensuring compliance with H&S standards
  • Supporting site strategy through structured project execution
  • Embedding continuous improvement and engineering best practice
  • Using CAD where required to support project design and modification

What We’re Looking For:

  • Extensive experience as a Project Engineer in FMCG, food manufacturing, or industrial environments
  • Strong electrical engineering expertise (essential)
  • CAD experience (required)
  • Proven project management and budget control capability
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • PMP or PRINCE2 desirable
