Orange Malone is looking for a Director of Investment Operations and Reporting to lead and drive change across key investment functions, including Middle Office, Back Office, liquidity management, collateral management, and Treasury Management System.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and optimize middle office operations, including trade validation and third-party relationships.
- Drive short-term liquidity risk management and deploy excess liquidity into yield-generating investments.
- Oversee derivative and reinsurance collateral management, ensuring timely execution and reporting.
- Manage investment accounting processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Lead the Treasury system implementation, optimisation, and team development.
- Supervise outsourcing relationships, ensuring adherence to compliance standards.
- Play a key leadership role in governance committees and continue to build a high-performing team (currently a team of seven).
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience leading investment operations in complex financial services (ideally life insurance).
- Strong knowledge of balance sheet management, liquidity risk, and regulatory reporting.
- Accounting or actuarial qualification (Treasury/Investment qualification is a plus).
- Ability to solve complex problems and influence at senior levels.
