The DevOps Engineer introduces processes, tools, and methodologies to balance needs throughout the software development life cycle, from coding and deployment to maintenance and updates.
Your Role at Orange Logic:- Infrastructure provisioning, optimization and management.
- Cloud architecture & system administration.
- Manage and improve the observability stack (metrics, logs, traces, alerting, visualization).
- Dealing with security requirements and automations proposing a good balance.
- Acts as the DevOps advocate; helps evangelize and educate the DevOps way across the organization.
- Develop new system and application plans to ensure operational reliability.
- Assist in managing and maintaining a network of hosted servers.
- Enforce / help about security good practices at dev level to prevent breaches.
- Participate to optimize cloud costs.
- Experienced Infrastructure as Code with CloudFormation/Terraform.
- Experienced on containers approach with Docker (Linux and Windows).
- A Subject Matter Expert on cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, TeamCity, Azure Pipelines) and ElasticSearch.
- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g. Chef, Puppet or Ansible).
- Experience in cloud native approach and containers orchestration tools (e.g. Kubernetes).
- Proficient with Windows/Linux systems using a terminal (e.g. Bash, Powershell).
- Hands-on experience with developer toolset and practices such as using source control, giving and receiving code reviews, writing unit tests and familiarity with agile principles.
- Strong understanding of common system architecture, provisioning and automation.
