The Site Reliability Engineer is responsible for the availability and reliability of critical platform services and applications, ensuring they meet the requirements of internal and external users.
Your Role at Orange Logic:
- Managing application monitoring tools.
- Supervise all alerts related to application and system procedures and provide services proactively.
- Administer and resolve applications issues, provide updates and perform root cause analysis.
- Support on application outages.
- Plan, execute books and implement applications and configuration change procedures to ensure optimal quality assurance for all applications.
- Providing software application support.
- Ensuring effective front-end and back-end functionality of applications.
- Consulting with the software development team, internal users, and clients to improve application performance.
- Managing code migration across environments to ensure continued and synchronized functionality.
Ideal Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, or similar role within a technology environment.
- Proven track record of managing and maintaining complex, large-scale distributed systems.
- Experienced with SQL to run queries.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including services like EC2, S3, RDS, and Kubernetes.
- Expertise in implementing and managing monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar.
- Experienced with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
- Extensive experience with automation tools and scripting languages to streamline repetitive tasks and enhance system reliability.
- Experienced in server and application maintenance, monitoring and operations.
- Experienced with at least one programming language.
