Software Engineer in Nottingham

The Software Engineer will enhance Orange Logic’s software by participating in the design, development, maintenance and testing process.

Your Role at Orange Logic:

• Developing high quality software features and architecture that exceeds our customer’s needs
• Takes ownership of projects, including architecture, design, implementation, evaluation, optimization, testing, and deployment
• Obtains feedback from internal teams/clients to maintain/support the product development
• Writes automated Unit and Integration Tests for robust development
• Performs code reviews on other team members’ work
• Collaborates with distributed teams in France, Vietnam, and the United States

Ideal Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related field or equivalent experience
• Proficient with any back-end programming languages (i.e. C#, Java, Python, C++, etc.)
• An understanding of complex algorithms and data structures, as well as a passion for intellectual challenges
• Strong self-discipline for delivering well-tested, complete features/modules under a tight schedule and the capability for rational thinking
• Experience with SQL relational database management systems is preferred
• Analytical mind with problem solving aptitude
• Ability to work independently
