About the Role
We are seeking a Conference Manager to lead the planning and execution of conferences and summits focused on medical research, fundraising, and advocacy. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can manage logistics, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure events run seamlessly while maintaining a strong focus on the mission of supporting medical charities.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan, coordinate, and execute medical charity conferences, summits, and panel discussions.
• Develop event strategies that align with the goals of medical charities and healthcare partners.
• Build relationships with speakers, sponsors, vendors, and key stakeholders in the medical field.
• Oversee event marketing, registrations, and engagement strategies to maximise participation.
• Manage budgets, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective event execution.
• Ensure seamless logistics, including AV setup, catering, travel arrangements, and on-site operations.
• Track KPIs, measure event impact, and provide insights for future improvements.
Qualifications & Skills
• 3-5+ years of experience in conference planning, event management, or nonprofit fundraising events.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders.
• Experience working with medical professionals, researchers, or healthcare organisations is a plus.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
