Senior Fire Engineer
£Neg DOE | Hybrid/Flexible (UK-wide projects)

As the Senior Fire Engineer, you will combine technical expertise, stakeholder engagement, product innovation to make a genuine impact across the built environment.
You will be at the forefront of shaping fire safety standards, influencing best practice across the UK construction industry, and helping to deliver safer, more resilient buildings.
The Opportunity
- Provide expert technical and specification advice to architects, contractors, and fellow fire engineers.
- Lead and mentor a team of two Technical Advisors, supporting their professional growth.
- Deliver toolbox talks, inspections, and compliance checks to ensure the highest levels of safety and quality.
- Apply advanced engineering expertise and exercise critical judgement on complex fire engineering challenges.
- Contribute to the development of new products, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and future industry needs.
- Play an active role in industry innovation, working with colleagues across global R&D and technical teams.
What We're Looking For
- Degree-qualified Engineer (or equivalent professional background).
- Membership of a recognised fire industry body (IFE or similar) and ideally working towards Chartered Engineer (CEng).
- Strong working knowledge of Approved Document B and passive fire protection principles.
- Proven experience in fire engineering within construction, consultancy, or manufacturing environments.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders.
