Orama’s vision is ambitious and clear: to build early-stage software companies by putting in the foundational go-to-market (GTM) and technical teams that will carry them from inception to IPO or acquisition. Over the last decade, Orama has evolved alongside the rapidly changing VC and startup landscape. With shorter runways, higher scrutiny over every hire, and reduced tolerance for risk, CEOs need true business partners more than ever. Orama’s mission is not just to fill roles, but to ensure clients feel confident they’ve hired the best possible people to help achieve their world-changing goals.

Our Journey

Over the past ten years, we have partnered with visionary startups at the start of their growth journeys, helping build world-class GTM and technical teams. Today, Orama is the trusted technology recruitment partner to some of Silicon Valley’s most respected funds. Our ARR has doubled in the past year, fueled by a strengthened leadership team and a focus on delivering high-impact recruitment across the US, EMEA, APAC, and LATAM. Our expertise spans five core technology pillars: AI, Cloud & Infrastructure, Data & Analytics, Digital, Cyber Security, and Fintech.

How this role plays a part in that mission

As a Principal Consultant, you will act as a trusted partner to both clients and candidates. You will help define the business problem a new hire is intended to solve and translate that into the skills, experience, and attributes required for success. You’ll take ownership of searches end-to-end, mapping the market, identifying and engaging top talent, and driving the hiring process to a successful outcome.

Key responsibilities

  • Build Lasting Partnerships: Forge trusted relationships with founders, investors, and senior executives. Become the go-to advisor in the technology recruitment space.
  • Drive Impactful Hires: Lead the search for high-caliber GTM leaders, directly shaping the growth of innovative tech companies.
  • Expand Your Network: Grow and nurture a powerful network within the global tech ecosystem.
  • Deliver Excellence at Every Stage: Manage the full recruitment lifecycle with precision, ensuring a seamless experience for clients and candidates alike.
  • Accelerate Your Professional Growth: Thrive in a high-performance environment supported by industry experts and best-in-class resources.

What We’re Looking For

  • 4+ years in quota-carrying recruitment roles, with a focus on GTM teams for VC-backed, pre-IPO B2B software companies.
  • Experience engaging with C-level executives, acting as a true business partner and consultant.
  • Highly motivated, coachable, and driven to continuously develop your skills and knowledge.
  • Emotionally intelligent, academically strong, and tenacious problem-solvers.
  • Collaborative, humble, and aligned with Orama’s culture – ego and arrogance have no place here.

Why Orama?

  • Exceptional commission scheme and career growth opportunities.
  • Unlimited holiday and remote working flexibility.
  • Quarterly personal development allowance and abroad incentives.
  • Mental health initiatives and coaching.
  • Frequent team socials and an annual President’s Club holiday.
  • Opportunities to relocate internationally, including our US office.
