What You’ll Do
As a Senior Principal Software Developer on this team, you will be a key technical member in the Analytics space, working with Oracle’s leading Analytics Cloud products. You will contribute to the architecture, design, and development of complex Analytics solutions, requiring strong development, technical, and communication skills. You will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. Additionally, you will take an active role in defining and evolving standard practices and procedures within the software engineering division, leveraging your advanced technical and business skills to contribute as a leading individual and team member, providing direction and mentoring to others.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5-7 years in software development or related field
- 5-7 years of experience delivering Analytics solutions
- Hands-on experience developing at least one full lifecycle project using FAIDP (formerly FDI), and OAC
- Expertise in integrating SaaS applications and on-premises application software using the FAIDP (formerly FDI)
- Proficiency in Data Warehousing and Data Modeling
- Strong understanding and experience with Data Integration solutions using the Oracle tools such as ODI, OCIDI, and OCI Data Flow
- Proficiency in at least two of Oracle’s four broad offerings: infrastructure, database, middleware, and analytics
- BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area
Preferred Qualifications
- Implementation experience with Fusion AI Data Platform (formerly FDI) and administration/tuning experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud
- Hands-on experience in DevOps tools, end-to-end data integration solutions such as ODI, OCIDI, and OCI Data Flow
- Solid understanding of data warehousing principles. Experience in writing efficient and optimised code and understanding of performance tuning techniques
- Experience working with internal customers and translating requests into prioritised work or features
Responsibilities
- You have extensive experience in designing and delivering Analytics solutions using Fusion AI Data Platform (formerly FDI) and Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC)
- You have extensive experience in designing and delivering Data Integration solutions using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and OCI Data Integration (OCIDI), OCI Data Flow
- You are an experienced software architect with a consistent track record of designing and delivering high-scale, high-impact solutions
- You will develop and execute complex SQL queries to analyse data issues end to end
- Perform data validations from FAIDP to the respective Source systems and consolidate the data
- Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance requirements
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet project deadlines
- You are customer-driven, deeply committed, and exceeding customer needs
