Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is looking for a Data Centre Operations & Customer Service Delivery Manager to support distributed cloud deployments across EMEA.
This role combines three key areas:
- Data centre operations
- Customer success and service management
- Project delivery
You will oversee Oracle infrastructure deployed within customer and cloud partner data centres. You will help maintain operational performance, support new deployments and act as a trusted point of contact for customers.
Please note that there may be a requirement for the candidate to travel to Data Centre locations. Approximately 20% per year.
Responsibilities
- Manage the operational performance of multiple data centre deployments
- Build strong relationships with enterprise customers
- Lead customer calls and provide clear service updates
- Manage incidents, escalations, risks and improvement actions
- Support site inspections, readiness reviews and operational handovers
- Coordinate with engineering, deployment and service teams
- Drive improvements in uptime, service quality and customer satisfaction
What We Are Looking For
- Experience in data centre operations, infrastructure support or engineering
- Knowledge of power, cooling, cabling, connectivity, servers, storage or networks
- Direct experience working with external enterprise customers
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with incident, problem and change management
- Ability to manage technical projects across multiple sites
Desirable
- Experience with private cloud, distributed cloud or multi-cloud environments
- Knowledge of OCI or other cloud platforms
ITIL, Lean or Six Sigma experience
