Overview
Behind every mission critical cloud service is a sophisticated SaaS architecture that supports the world’s largest enterprises. At Oracle SaaS Cloud Engineering, we deliver the IT fabric that powers the industry’s leading enterprise solutions. Our SaaS Cloud Security organization secures enterprise grade services for more than 25,000 customers, processing tens of billions of transactions every day.
We are seeking an experienced Outbound Security Product Manager based in the UK to own cybersecurity framework mapping, internal standards ownership, and operational alignment across SaaS Cloud Security. This is a highly technical individual contributor role requiring deep expertise in security frameworks, strong documentation discipline, and cross functional influence, with no delivery ownership and no people management responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement and Assurance Support: engage with a mix of commercial enterprise customers and select regulated or restricted customers across the UK and EU regions. Conduct framework mapping discussions, assurance alignment, architecture reviews, and security posture conversations. Ensure customer feedback informs standards evolution, clarity, prioritization, and traceability of customer, framework, and operational requirements into product planning and roadmap execution.
- Strategic Framework Ownership, Positioning, and Enablement: map and interpret external cybersecurity frameworks (NIST CSF, CSA CCM, CIS Controls, MITRE ATT&CK) into SaaS Cloud Security controls, standards, and operating practices. Build scalable assets such as control mappings, reference architectures, standards documentation, playbooks, and executive materials to accelerate consistency and adoption.
- Governing Product and Roadmap Influence: capture emerging AI governance requirements and AI risk management expectations. Translate framework-driven gaps, customer assurance feedback, and operational friction points into high-quality inputs for roadmaps and standards evolution. Ensure clarity, prioritization, and traceability across outbound to inbound interfaces without owning delivery execution or backlog management.
- Cross Functional Alignment and Internal Standards Ownership: act as a bridge across Product Management, Engineering, Compliance, Global Information Security, CSS, CSM, and Field teams. Maintain SaaS Cloud Security standards, lifecycle management, versioning, quality, consistency, and adoption, aligned with Oracle security practices and enterprise governance. Maintain quarterly engagement cadences with pre/post-sales teams to exchange insights and improvement opportunities.
- Innovation and Scalable Security Outcomes: contribute to AI related security frameworks, control models, and assurance approaches to enable scalable governance of AI-enabled services and automation of assurance and evidence generation. Drive scalable improvements in standards automation and framework mapping quality using automation and data-driven approaches where they add value.
Qualifications
- 6 to 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, product management, security architecture, or security consulting roles.
- Hands-on experience with cybersecurity frameworks including NIST CSF, CSA CCM, CIS Controls, and MITRE ATT&CK.
- Experience owning and maintaining security standards, control frameworks, or governance documentation in enterprise environments.
- Experience working cross-functionally with operations, customer success, engineering, and security teams.
- Ability to translate framework and operational inputs into structured product and operating model inputs.
Skills
- Interest or experience in AI technologies, automation, or data-driven systems, with a focus on contributing to AI security frameworks, control models, or governance standards.
- Strong technical understanding of SaaS security architecture (identity and access management, audit logging, encryption, data protection, perimeter controls).
- Ability to map technical controls to external frameworks and assurance expectations.
- Excellent written communication with strong standards authoring and documentation skills.
- Strong verbal communication and stakeholder facilitation capability.
- Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without formal authority.
- Structured analytical mindset with strong governance discipline.
Mindset
- Curiosity and willingness to engage with emerging AI governance and evolving AI regulatory direction, translating early signals into practical standards and operating guidance.
- High ownership and accountability as an individual contributor.
- Systems thinking mindset with focus on scalability and consistency.
- Comfort operating across ambiguity, governance, and operational complexity.
- Collaborative and outcome-focused working style.
- Passion for cloud security, evolving frameworks, and continuous improvement.
Preferred
- Experience supporting regulated or restricted customers.
- Familiarity with Oracle SaaS, OCI, or enterprise cloud platforms.
- Exposure to audit, assurance, or compliance programs.
