We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle OCI OBI Analytics Engineer with expertise in building, optimizing, and supporting Analytics solutions in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust OCI-based analytics solutions. Your extensive experience with OBIEE, ODI, BIApps, OAC, OAS, Fusion Analytics Warehouse, and OCI in general will be instrumental in driving the success of our analytics initiatives and enabling data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Solution Design and Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design end-to-end analytics solutions in OCI. Leverage your expertise in OBIEE, ODI, BIApps, OAC, OAS, Fusion Analytics Warehouse, and OCI services to architect scalable, performant, and reliable analytics solutions.
- Implementation and Optimization: Build and configure OCI-based analytics solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards. Optimize performance by fine-tuning queries, implementing caching strategies, and designing efficient data models.
- Data Integration and Transformation: Work closely with data engineering teams to define and implement data integration workflows using ODI and other relevant tools. Ensure seamless extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various sources into the analytics environment.
- Production Support: Provide ongoing support for deployed analytics solutions, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to data accuracy, system performance, and user access. Monitor system health, proactively identify and resolve potential bottlenecks, and ensure high availability and reliability of the analytics environment.
- Security and Governance: Implement and enforce data security controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Develop and maintain data governance frameworks and policies to ensure data quality, integrity, and privacy within the analytics ecosystem.
- Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing: Collaborate effectively with stakeholders, including business users, data analysts, and IT teams, to understand requirements, gather feedback, and deliver high-quality solutions. Share knowledge and provide guidance to team members on OCI OBI Analytics best practices and emerging trends.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in OCI services, analytics tools, and technologies. Evaluate new features and functionalities to identify opportunities for enhancing existing solutions and driving innovation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Extensive experience (5+ years) working with Oracle OCI, OBIEE, ODI, BIApps, OAC, OAS, and Fusion Analytics Warehouse.
- Strong expertise in building, optimizing, and supporting analytics solutions in OCI.
- Hands-on experience in implementing/supporting Oracle Business Intelligence Applications for heterogeneous sources like EBS/Siebel/Taleo/Fusion Cloud. The functional modules should cover Financials, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement and Spend, Sales, etc.
- Proficiency in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and data modelling concepts.
- Experience and in-depth understanding of Data Model and Business process functionality and its data flow in Oracle Business Intelligence Applications.
