Our team ofCloud Infrastructure Black Belts inOCI Cloud Compute Services is looking to hire a matter expert in this fields to work with Clients in ourEMEA Region.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Deliver successful Customer Engagements leading to increased consumption
  • Collaborate with theAccount CloudEngineers and Sales in the field to define the scope and deliverablesfor the customerrequirements
  • Support the Account CloudEngineers in describing the proposedsolutions providing deep expertise and experience about OCI Compute service.
  • Accelerate customer opportunities with new and existing customers through technical presentations, Proof of Concept (PoC), solution assistance.
  • Identifies market trends and value propositions.
  • Thought Leadership and Evangelism Continuously invest in deepening domain skills by taking relevant training courses Proactively participate to define and rollout sales initiatives. Work closely withProduct Managementand Engineeringto gain early competence in new domain solutions/features. Have a deep understanding of the competitors equivalent cloud offerings and OCI competitive differentiators Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in cloud computing.
  • Cross-collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement Work closely and collaboratively as one team with other domains, workload architects, lift team and shared services. Collaborate across the ecosystem of Consulting, Customer Support and Oracle partners to scale the engagement model Contribute to the relevant Communities of Practice (CoP) to foster better collaboration Identify and develop team assets (white papers, blogs, slack support, reference architectures, and software migration components) to help other groups gain relevant experience in deploying their domain solutions.
  • Governance & Reporting Complete all relevant certifications and other mandatory enablement Fully understand and leverage the systems in place to support customerstrategic engagements. Provide timely status updates and other reports as required.

Skills and Profile

  • Bachelor\’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Relevant Experience of IaaS architecture, IaaS engineering or IaaS management
  • Strong understanding of cloud design principles, including security, scalability, and performance
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform
  • Familiarity with common hypervisors (., VMware, Hyper-V, KVM) and experience managing Compute Services.
  • Good knowledge of both Linux and Windows operating systems, including installation, configuration, and administration.
  • Understanding of Virtual Machines (VM), Bare-Metal servers, and their respective use cases.
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts, including IP addressing, subnets, firewalls, and load balancing.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work closely with sales, engineering, and customer teams.
  • Basic knowledge of HPC environments, including cluster computing, parallel processing, and the specific demands of HPC workloads is a plus!
  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services and capabilities a plus!

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications: OCI Certified Architect Associate, OCI Architect Professional,AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or similar certifications.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a sales or solution engineering role or a related field within the cloud computing industry.
  • Automation: Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
