The predicted salary is between 48000 - 72000 £ per year.

We provide our customers and partners with advisory and delivery services for the implementation, adoption and continuous improvement of Oracle-based Cloud solutions. We deliver projects ranging from single module implementations to multi-national, cross-domain solutions including Enterprise Resource and Performance Management (ERPM), Human Capital Management (HCM) and Customer Experience (CX). Once customers are live, we continue to support them to maximise the value Oracle brings to their business.

We are growing the business and have an immediate requirement for additional Project Managers and Directors who have excellent customer facing skills, coupled with delivery experience ideally using Oracle.

Responsibilities
  • Lead customer programmes and projects in some or all of the areas of ERPM, HCM, CX.
  • Own delivery of the business outcome and motivate consulting engagement teams to deliver exceptional solutions to meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers supporting them in their transformation journey to SaaS and helping them build an innovation mindset to adopt AI and new features.
  • Work with the Oracle account team to develop quality proposals including project approach, work plans, resource plans.
  • Assist Consulting Sales Representatives in drafting and reviewing contract exhibits.
  • Work closely with the client and project team to assure delivery against key business requirements / scope, time, quality and budget.
  • Work with the customer to define, establish and implement effective and appropriate governance arrangements ensuring that Oracle are represented effectively at all appropriate levels.
  • Work with the Oracle account team to manage and communicate with client stakeholders, acting as the primary interface regarding project delivery.
  • Develop Project Management Plans in conjunction with the client, early in the project lifecycle to set governance standards for delivery.
  • Develop and regularly maintain project work plans, resource plans and project revenue forecasts.
  • Clearly report project status internally and to the client to agreed standards.
  • Work with Oracle Consulting practices, resource managers and offshore teams to fill project resource requirements.
  • Work with Oracle license and systems sales teams, support services and cloud operations teams and global business units to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Ensure early visibility of and development of mitigation plans for project risks and issues and track actions.
  • Manage project changes, raising or processing change requests in a timely manner, and working with the Consulting Sales Representative for contract amendments.
  • Setup working approaches and appropriate intervention to maximise quality of engagement work products, solutions, and deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with Oracle and client policies.
  • Drive mutually beneficial incremental client value and business opportunities for Oracle.
  • Continually contribute to the improvement of Oracle processes and delivery methods (assess, recommend, and implement recommendations).
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 10 years programme or project management experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience of full life cycle Oracle Applications, Technology or Systems implementation. Alternatively experience implementing similar solutions will be considered.
  • Experience will be in customer-facing roles, preferably as part of an IT professional services organization.
  • Track record of building relationships at C-level.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Aptitude to work as part of cross line of business teams.
  • Able to manage and forecast against large project budgets.
  • Proven track record of delivering large projects on time and budget to a high quality.
  • Self-motivated, able to thrive in an environment where your next engagement and challenge is not prescribed to you.
  • Energetic and enthusiastic approach to technology, people management and building relationships.
  • Willingness to travel and work away from home (up to 75%).
  • Experience of a wide range of implementation methodologies and the ability to select and recommend approaches to clients based upon need and client maturity (e.g. Waterfall versus Agile).
  • Understanding of AI and its impact on business, customers and project implementations.
Education
  • Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Programme Management qualification (MSP) desirable.
  • Project Management qualifications desirable, e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, Certified Scrum Master.
  • Membership of a professional project management community (PMI, PMP) desirable.
