The Mortgage Support Team in Wealth Management Operations is a center of excellence that supports the Wealth Management Mortgage Business in Europe offering High Net Worth clients UK mortgages.
The Mortgage Support Team plays a pivotal role in supporting the growth of the Wealth Management Mortgage Business and delivering a superior client experience. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast paced business with ambitious growth plans, new mortgage products under development and new markets to explore.
Responsibilities include preparation of mortgage documentation, facilitating a seamless mortgage completion experience and providing after sales servicing to clients. The role requires strong partnership skills working closely with Mortgage Specialists, Legal partners and credit colleagues. A strong focus on quality, risk and controls is essential to ensure a high quality service and faster to client delivery.
Responsibilities

Partner with Mortgage Specialists through the lifecycle of the mortgage process

Prepare mortgage documentation, including among others, application and offer packs, utilization requests, commencement letters and annual mortgage statements

Instruct, legal and valuation work and undertake all completion activities including ensuring satisfaction of all conditions and mortgage loan booking

Regularly partner with and provide support for colleagues in other locations (London, Geneva, Singapore)

Maintain accurate data in systems and partner with other operations and technology colleagues to resolve exceptions

Develop an in-depth understanding of the UK mortgage regulations and end-to-end process

Understand and ensure compliance with, JPMorgan policies and regulatory requirements

Support Regulatory Reporting requirements

Partner with colleagues on projects to deliver new products, simplify or enhance existing processes and enhance the client experience

University graduate (preferably Law or Finance) or some previous basic experience in dealing with client credit documents

Knowledge of mortgage documentation and regulation is a plus

Experience within a financial institution is a plus

Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate at all levels

Strong organisational skills, ability to work independently, self-motivated with ability to prioritize work and meet tight deadlines

Familiarity with credit and lending products

Ability to identify improvements and support delivery of process changes

Strong Excel skills an advantage
