The opportunity has arisen for a Contracts and commercial consultant to join our team.
Responsibilities/Role:
- Work in a team of Commercial Managers and consultants, being a key member of the Consulting Team from both management and consultant levels in Sales & Delivery.
- Discuss customer requirements and advise on Oracleβs contracting process capabilities and limitations.
- Model pricing structures for products to align with customer budgets and sales efforts.
- Determine appropriate contracting methods.
- Draft contracts and process them through internal approvals.
- Draft nonstandard contracts, including those for Public Sector Customers via the G-Cloud Framework.
- Analyze and interpret information from sales teams to formulate recommendations and solutions.
- Prepare and deliver training sessions for sales teams on internal processes.
- Build relationships with stakeholders for guidance on deal modeling and contract drafting.
- Stay updated with industry advances and suggest improvements.
- Mentor and train junior team members.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Experience with contracts and commercial processes in a sales environment.
- Understanding of pricing models and service contract structures.
- Experience with software automation tools for approvals and contract processing.
- Degree educated.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Ability to work effectively with remote teams.
- Problem-solving skills.
