A well-established multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer. Location: London or Birmingham (Hybrid working model) - NO SPONSORSHIP Role Function
Responsibilities
- To assist with the design of electrical systems for buildings as part of an integrated project team.
Requirements
- Third level qualification in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
- 3 years relevant experience, ideally in a design consultancy environment.
- Knowledge & experience of current Design Guides, Building Regulations, EN Standards and IEC Standards.
- Previous UK / Ireland experience essential.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, with Revit/BIM experience preferred.
- Proactive, with the ability to work well with others in a multifunctional project team.
- Excellent attention to detail.
Duties
- Assist with detailed lighting calculations, cable sizing etc using Electrical Design software.
- Produce drawings using AutoCAD and Revit/BIM software.
- Assist in the preparation of technical specifications, reports.
- Participate in site visits, inspections, and troubleshooting to ensure design compliance.
