As a result of continued expansion our client is looking for Trainee Graphic Designers to join their network of digital design, print and enterprise design companies in a Graphic Designer role. A Graphic Designer is a mixed and varied role; tasks could include working on a variety of products and activities, such as websites, advertising, books, magazines, posters, computer games, product packaging, exhibitions and displays, corporate communications and corporate identity, i.e. giving organisations a visual ‘brand’. Our clientsβ partners include market leaders that employee over 400 Graphic Designers nationwide; as well as directly commissioned agencies that work with world class retail and corporate companies such as Heinz, Samsung and Zara. No experience required; Successful candidates will be well-presented, have a professional approach, a flexible positive attitude and good communication skills as well as be Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) Certified in Illustrator or be happy to complete the ACE certification, fees may apply. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable global industry whilst attaining a globally recognised qualification as a trainee. As companies have all started to abide by a minimum qualification requirement, it has become increasingly more difficult to enter the graphic design industry without an Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) professional level certification. Due to the reduced level of qualified candidates, trainee salary expectations have risen, with a newly qualified trainee graphic designer typically earning a salary between Β£27-32k rising to Β£45k+ with experience.
